The iDAS-VR Vehicle On-Road Test System is modular controller and data acquisition system. The system is composed of one M8008 iDAS-VR controller, which provides power to individual modules and communicates to PC via Ethernet or a wireless module M8020 via CAN Bus. The controller has one isolated input port for the vehicle speed signal. Digitized data from the connected sensor modules will be synchronized with the vehicle speed. The data is saved to on-board memory as well as sent to a connected wireless module M8020 or PC.

Description

M8008 – iDAS-VR controller, which provides power to individual modules and communicates to PC via Ethernet or the wireless module M8020 via CAN Bus. Each iDAS-VR system (controller and sensors) must have one M8008 controller. The controller has one isolated input port for the vehicle speed signal. M8008 collects the digitized data from individual sensor modules and synchronizes them with the vehicle speed. The data is then saved to on-board memory. At the same time, the saved data is sent to the wireless module M8020 or PC.

M8020 – iDAS-VR wireless module. M8020 collects the data from the controller M8008, vehicle data from OBD and GPS signals, and then wirelessly transmits the data to the server via wireless G3 network.

M8217 – iDAS-VR High Voltage Module features 8 channels with eight 6-pin LEMO connectors. The input voltage range is ±15V. The module features programmable gain, 24-bit AD (16 –bit effective), PV data compression and up to 512HZ sampling rate.

M8218 – iDAS-VR Sensor Module has the same features as M8127 with a ±20mV input voltage range.

M8219 – iDAS-VR Thermo-couple Module, compatible with K type Thermo-couples, features 8 channels with eight 6-pin LEMO connectors. The module features programmable gain, 24-bit AD (16 –bit effective), PV data compression and up to 50HZ sampling rate.
